transfer case

Your transfer case sends power to your front and rear axles from your transmission.  Transfer cases deliver power using a chain-driven system or with gears.   Your transfer cases and transmission must be checked.  Your transfer case can develop rattling noises.  And the chain can wear through your transfer case housing.  Another noticeable sign of trouble is switching gears.  Your transfer case can make a whining noise when switching into a certain gear.

For nearly 35 years we've serviced and repaired transfer cases.  We service transfer cases for automatic and manual transmissions.  Do you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle?  Your transfer case must be working properly.  Otherwise your rear and front axles won't get the power you need.  We service and repair all types of transfer cases.  These include gear-driven, chain-driven, independent and "married" transfer cases.  Contact Parkland Transmission and Automotive for thorough transfer case service and repair.
